1. Using the app
Pocket Pilot gives you access to study material, quizzes and practice exams for the Private Pilot Licence. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial study.
2. Educational use only
Pocket Pilot is a study aid, not an official source of regulation or aeronautical information. Content is provided for learning and may contain errors or become out of date. It does not replace official EASA, FAA, CAA or other authority publications, approved training, or the guidance of a qualified flight instructor. Always rely on current official sources and your instructor for real-world decisions and your actual exam preparation. We make no guarantee that using the app will result in passing any exam.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
Some features require a paid purchase or subscription. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account. Refunds are handled according to the relevant store’s policy.
If you download Pocket Pilot from the Apple App Store, your use of the app is also governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Apple Standard EULA). To the extent of any conflict between that agreement and these terms for App Store downloads, the Apple Standard EULA prevails.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not copy, redistribute or resell the app’s content without permission.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the app.
- Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose.
5. Intellectual property
The app, its content and its branding are owned by Pocket Pilot or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app in line with these terms.
6. Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pocket Pilot and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. We will revise the “last updated” date above when we do.
